Instrutor Baé comes from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. He has been playing capoeira since 1989 and has many years of experience in teaching students of all ages. He also has a wealth of experience with many different forms of percussion; he trained in the Olodum school of music in Salvador and has played with a number of different bands in Brazil, of varying musical influences (samba, axé, reggae, pagode, jazz, candomble, African rythm). He has instructed students in capoeira, maculele, samba, danca de orixas, salsa, lambada, forro, samba-reggae and various forms of percussion.

Baé received his Instrutors cord from Mestre Ray at the Oficina da Capoeira 10th Anniversary Batizado in Belo Horizonte, December 2006.
